Abbie Gathard
My name is Abbie Gathard. I’m a pop, singer songwriter and guitarist from Hertfordshire. I started playing guitar when I was 12 and fell in love with music ever since. My influences are KT Tunstall, Taylor Swift and Katie Melua, to name a few. I studied music at college for 2 year, then continuing at college to study an HNC and HND course in music and finished my final year at The University of Hertfordshire studying ‘Songwriting and Music Production’, receiving my ‘bachelor of science degree’ in 2018.
Since then I have been performing at different events around the UK, mostly around Hertfordshire and released an Ep in January 2020 called ‘Taking Chances’. In March 2022, my single ‘To my valentine’ came out, all music is available to listen now on all music platforms. I’m currently working on new music and can’t wait for everyone to hear
